MA Art Therapy (University of Hertfordshire)
Maggie is an art therapist who works with an integrative approach, depending on the client’s needs. She has worked in adult mental health in the NHS and third sector organisations in addition to her independent practice.
Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that has been found to be particularly useful in the treatment of anxiety, depression and trauma. At times in our lives such feelings can be persistent, and we feel stuck with what seems intractable distress. Often a client will come to art therapy finding it difficult to express their feelings in words. Working with a therapist, image making can be a catalyst helping to access, articulate, and process these difficult feelings.
I work with individuals who are over 18 years of age.
