About
Heather Hunter is a trainee sport and exercise psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and currently training to be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) through a Professional Doctorate at the University of Portsmouth.
Sport and exercise psychology is equally about performance excellence, personal development, and wellbeing. Heather works with clients to help them to better understand themselves – how they work, how they think, and how they behave – so they can use this information to impact their performance and their lives.
Heather works with a range of individuals and teams including Royal Navy Sport and rugby mental health charity Brave Mind. She works with multiple sports and is also open to working with performing artists, online gamers, and businesses.
Heather’s research areas of interest include self-care, self-compassion, and identity.
