Lynne’s goal is to bring transformation and restore clients’ sense of wellbeing through a holistic approach to their emotional and mental health needs. She works with adults to address life issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and personal relationships, as well as trauma-related issues such as PTSD.
Lynne is particularly interested in helping clients understand what their body is telling them, especially where cognitive approaches and thinking alone aren’t effective. She works ‘experientially’, helping clients to process difficult emotions and disturbing life experiences by addressing feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations that are happening in the present moment.
Her work is based on modern-day psychotherapeutic approaches that are neuroscience, attachment theory and trauma-informed. She has an MA in Integrative Counselling, Level 3 in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Level 2 Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Lynne is a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
