Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections are a prescription-only medicine and therefore our aesthetics practitioners are all fully qualified nurses, midwives or doctors with additional specialist training in aesthetics.

These injections work to reduce or freeze the movement in targeted muscles in the face, by blocking the transmission of nerve endings local to the muscle.

This means the underlying muscle contractions and expressions in the target area, are reduced, and the wrinkling of the overlying skin is therefore reduced. The intention is therefore to prevent the the formation of lines and wrinkles, as well as reducing the appearance of existing ones.
