Work Experience:
Freena is a Psychologist, Therapist and Coach with over a decade of experience supporting children, young people, parents and adults. She specialises in neurodiversity affirming psychological therapy, executive function and ADHD coaching, and evidence based interventions (such as CBT) for emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties.
Alongside her independent practice, Freena works at one of UK’s top universities as Programme Director for two postgraduate professional training programmes. She teaches and supervises clinicians working in children’s mental health services, with a focus on anxiety, low mood, OCD, trauma, tics/Tourette’s, neurodivergence, parenting support and clinical supervision.
Freena trained in NHS CAMHS as a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP) and previously worked in NHS Specialist CAMHS services across Scotland and England. She draws on this background to provide warm, evidence based, neuroaffirming support for children, young people, families and adults.
